The Red Queen by Philippa Gregory

Heyo! Today is my one-year anniversary on this blog (can you believe it?) so I thought I’d go back to basics- yep, a book review.

Now, normally, I don’t read historical fiction, but this book has me hooked.

This book is set in the 1500s, and it is so addicting. I’ve nearly finished this, and I’m so in love with it.

It is about a lady named Margaret Beaufort, who is heir to the Lancaster throne. It tells the story of family fights, the throne and married life. If you are looking for a book to curl up with, I am 100% recommending this one. I love so much, I can’t wait to read The White Queen!

Although this book isn’t like any other book I’ve read, it’s set out in a similar way, and is really interesting. I cannot say how much this has changed my mind about historical fiction. Plus, it has some pretty amazing plot twists. So, if you want something different, here you go.

Also, I’m uploading daily vlogs this half term, so if you want to check those out, here’s my first one:

See you next week!
